The Xotic Super Sweet Booster is a boost type effects pedal that allows you to magnify your signal. Twin of the Super Clean Buffer, it greatly shares its circuit. This mini format pedal is built around a JRC4558 chip and also includes an EQ to best tune your sound. An essential tool for all guitarists as it allows you to improve your signal at a lower cost.
Small format, quality PCB and manufacturing, the Super Sweet Booster offers you up to +20dB of boost. Don't look for the many buttons, there is only one! Press the switch, set it to the middle at 12:00, you don't need anything else, it rings immediately! From head room, sparkle, shime, the Super Sweet Booster gives you everything you need to move up a gear without distorting your sound. You gain presence, dynamics, attack, mids and your signal is strengthened.
If you want to adjust certain frequencies, the deep switches on the side are there for that, but quite honestly, by default, everything is where it should be. Only one thing to do: don't turn it off! Where Super Clean is designed to be maximally transparent, Super Sweet provides a slight grit, a “rainy” grain as our American friends would say. Typical of the type of headroom and overtone you can hear from Michael Thompson, Mike Landau, Dean Park and some other of LA's finest musicians. In a way, you have the LA Sound in a mini pedal.
