The Sälen Jazz NX 6 is a new "modern classic" concept for the Swedish brand. The Sälen mixes the characteristics of the Boden range with a touch of classicism. A thoughtful synthesis of retro-classic and cutting-edge innovation, the Sälen is both familiar and resolutely forward-looking.
Developed for maximum versatility and comfort, the Sälen NX combines modern design with traditional sounds. It offers a wide range of sounds ranging from Jazz to Classic Rock. The Jazz model benefits from a Semi-Hollow type construction, which allows it to deliver warm, woody tones, with a highlighted midrange.
The mahogany body, combined with the maple top (mahogany veneer) and the rosewood fingerboard offer a very warm instrument, with a complex top of the spectrum, crystal clear sounds and soft and fluid saturated sounds. There Sälen Jazz NX will allow those looking for an instrument inspired by the 50's, to have a guitar with a unique voice, while retaining the characteristics and the unique sound signature of Strandberg guitars. Imagine a sort of modernized 339, that's what the Jazz offers you!
