The O shape is equivalent to a small Jumbo. Larger than the F, it benefits from extended projection and low end. The bass is deep and complex, the mids are fluid and present, the treble is sweet, thick, and rich. It also benefits from accentuated sensitivity and ultra-fast response. Its imposing projection combined with perfect balance make it a guitar that excels at miking. Appreciated by finger-picking players, it will also be at home in flat-picking for those looking for an enveloping sound. It will shine with its versatility.
This O-35 features a construction built around a red cedar top and Indian rosewood back and sides. A flamed maple bevel highlights the beauty of its lines. The abalone rosette adds a luxurious touch to this beautiful and understated lady. The neck follows the traditional design of Lowden guitars with a 5-piece mahogany and rosewood construction, combined with an ebony fingerboard. This combination delivers a very full, deep sound, with smoothness in the high end and perfect balance.
