The O shape is equivalent to a small Jumbo. Larger than the F, it benefits from extended projection and low end. The bass is deep and complex, the mids are fluid and present, the treble is sweet, thick, and rich. It also benefits from accentuated sensitivity and ultra-fast response. Its imposing projection combined with perfect balance make it a guitar that excels at miking. Appreciated by finger-picking players, it will also be at home in flat-picking for those looking for an enveloping sound. It will shine with its versatility.
Long considered THE Lowden recipe, the 25 series benefits from a construction made around a red cedar top and Indian rosewood back and sides. The soundhole is a mixture of rosewood, maple, walnut and mahogany in all sobriety. The neck follows the traditional design of Lowden guitars with a 5-piece construction of mahogany and rosewood, combined with an ebony fingerboard. This combination delivers a very full, deep sound, with sweetness in the high end and perfect balance.
