KarDian has chosen to reuse the chassis of the Ernie Ball VP Jr, which is a quality chassis, the right size (neither too big nor too small) and which has proven itself. Only concern of the original, it is sorely lacking in transparency. The brand has therefore... replaced everything! By also adding a nice little for function.
Upgrades present at the circuit level :
- Resistance manufactured by Amtrans AMRG Insulated Carbon Film Audiophile grade (made in Japan). Ultra low distortion rate. Offers you maximum dynamics and transparency.
- Custom potentiometer made by Tokyo Cosmos Electric Co., Ltd. (made in Japan). This allows an editable curve in 41 steps.
- Cable section 1.25 m², made in Japan, audiophile grade.
The KarDiaN Volume Pedal KND-LOW also benefits from an exclusive "Curve Control" function. This small knob on the front allows you to control the response curve characteristics of the pedal. So you can adjust how the volume rises from low to high, with full swing left for a fast rise and full swing right for a slow rise. This allows you to adjust the escalation of the effect to your own sensitivity.
It is one of the best references available on the market. Far from the original and other Dunlop, Boss which will alter your sound immediately. If you are looking for a volume pedal that respects your signal, the KarDiaN is a benchmark of its kind.
