The M-II is probably the most iconic model in the Japanese brand's catalogue. Originally designed to compete with Jackson's Dinky and later widely adopted by Kirk Hammett and many other artists, it's a "super-strat" with elegant lines that stood out for its exceptional playing comfort and its natural "big tone".
Entirely handmade at the Custom Shop in Japan, it represents the very best the brand can produce, with an attention to detail that has no equal.
This M-II CTM FM, from the Original Series, benefits from an uncompromising selection of woods and the unmatched craftsmanship of the Custom Shop. It's built around a flamed maple top on a lightweight mahogany body, with a set-thru maple neck and an ebony fingerboard. EMG pickups made for big tone and a fixed Hipshot bridge to detune however you like. This example comes in a custom colour "Purple Black Sunburst" finish, unique in the world.
