The ESP Custom Shop KH-3 Spider 30th Anniversary is based on the design of the Eclipse which is one of the most iconic guitars of the Japanese brand. This single cut with its fluid and aggressive lines is a perfect modern alternative to the classic Les Paul. In this version modified for the needs of Kirk Hammett, we find overall the lines of the original Eclipse, with an updated head and a graphic dear to the artist.
Appeared in 1991 and widely used during the black album period, the KH-3 has always been one of the most emblematic models of the lead guitarist of Metallica. In 2021, it returns to us in the 30th Anniversary version and benefits from new specs for the occasion.
Entirely handcrafted at the Custom Shop Japan, it represents the pinnacle of what the brand can produce thanks to the exceptional attention to detail it benefits from.
Boasting optimal playing comfort and an ultra-fast neck, this Custom Shop version delivers massive sounds and will satisfy those looking for a true war machine, as you would expect.
The KH-3 Spider 30th Anniversary is built around an alder body, maple neck with select rosewood fingerboard and a neck-thru joint. It is presented in Black gloss finish with Spider graphics and an EMG KH BoneBreaker pickup kit for fans of big sound.
