The ESP Custom Shop KH-3 Spider 30th Anniversary is based on the design of the Eclipse which is one of the most iconic guitars from the Japanese brand. This single cut with its fluid yet aggressive lines is a perfect modern alternative to classic Les Pauls. In this version modified for the needs of Kirk Hammett, we generally find the lines of the original Eclipse, with an updated head and a graphic dear to the artist.
Appeared in 1991 and very widely used during the black album period, the KH-3 has always been one of the most emblematic models of the Metallica lead guitarist. In 2021, it returns to us in a 30th Anniversary version and benefits from new specs for the occasion.
Entirely handcrafted in the Custom Shop Japan, it represents the pinnacle of what the brand can produce thanks to the exceptional attention to detail it enjoys.
Boasting optimal playing comfort and a super fast neck, this Custom Shop version delivers massive tones and will satisfy those looking for a real war machine, as you would expect.
The KH-3 Spider 30th Anniversary is built around an alder body, maple neck with selected rosewood fingerboard and neck-thru type junction. It is presented in Black gloss finish with Spider graphic and an EMG KH BoneBreaker pickup kit for fans of big sound.
