La M est sûrement le modèle le plus iconique de la marque Japonaise. Conçue à l'époque pour concurrencer la Dinky de chez Jackson et plus tard largement adoptée par Kirk Hammett et de nombreux autres artistes, c'est une "super-strat" aux lignes élégantes qui a su se démarquer de par son confort de jeu exceptionnel et son "gros son" naturel.
Entièrement fabriquée à la main au Custom Shop Japon, elle représente le summum de ce que la marque peut produire de part l'exceptionnelle attention aux détails dont elle bénéficie.
La KH-2 Vintage est le modèle le plus remarquable au sein des nombreuses guitares signature qu'à possédées l'emblématique guitariste de Metallica. Ce modèle Vintage est la version Aged de la KH-2 Neck-Thru, qui recréé à la perfection le modèle personnel de Kirk Hammet après que la guitare est souffert sur scène de nombreuses années. Tous les détails sont là, de la moindre trace de coup aux autocollants apposés par l'artiste. Cette M-II customisée est construite autour d'un corps en aulne très léger, d'un manche en érable conducteur doté d'une touche en palissandre et d'inlays custom. Elle bénéficie d'une finition Black Aged, d'un kit de micros EMG60 et 81 et du traditionnel Floyd Rose Original.
