Alexi "Wildchild" Laiho is the frontman and guitarist of the band Bodom After Midnight. The Finnish shredder, who passed away in 2020, leaves behind a rich legacy of furious solos and uniquely brutal, chiseled metal riffs. Alexi joined ESP in 2002, when he was a promising young musician. In 2006, ESP formalized its partnership with the artist by unveiling his first signature model.
Based on the SV, his signature model will speak to all fans of Randy Rhoads and aggressive and... "sharp" guitars! A metal-oriented guitar, this singular model with its unique curves is imposing. Reduced weight, sharp contours, slightly reworked body for easier access to the treble and overall comfort, the Custom Shop Alexi has an ultra-fast and comfortable neck, it is a reference for shredders of all kinds.
Entirely handcrafted at Custom Shop Japan, it represents the pinnacle of what the brand can produce thanks to the exceptional attention to detail it benefits from.
This "Arrow Head" model benefits from an implacable selection of woods and the unrivaled expertise of the brand's Custom Shop. Currently, there is a one-year wait for an equivalent model. The Alexi Arrow Head is built around an ultra-light alder body and a maple neck with an ebony fingerboard. It benefits from a Black w/ Yellow Stripes finish and a single EMG pickup.
