L’histoire du rock et de la guitare électrique sont intimement liées. De cette épopée sont ressorties quelques guitares facilement identifiables de part leur esthétique hors-norme. C’est le cas de l’Explorer, la Firebird ou de la Flying V. La Backwing est une nouvelle venue au sein de cette catégorie. Lignes affûtées, look tout droit sorti d’un garage de compète, la Backwing en impose et vous expose!
Guitare légère, elle ne penche ni de l’avant, ni de l’arrière. Que vous soyez assis ou debout, elle reste parfaitement équilibrée. Elle se met en avant grâce à une très belle finition et à un comfort de jeu de première ordre. Corps en acajou, manche en érable roasted doté d’une touche en palissandre Indien, la Backwing bénéficie d’une construction soignée et d’une attention aux détails rarement vue dans cette gamme de prix.
Branchée, elle envoie du lourd! Les sons clairs sont ronds, amples et chaleureux. Les sont saturés tranchent avec des harmoniques, des médiums punchy et du gain à profusion. Elle est équipée de micros mini-humbucker Baum « Goldbucker » qui bénéficient d’un haut niveau de sortie tout en conservant une excellente articulation et une capacité à « cleaner » plus facilement au potard de volume qu’un humbucker classique.
Comme tous les modèles de la gamme, la Backwing utilise le hardware prioritaire de la marque et son chevalet Levitator Roller.
