En standard, la Krautster bénéficie d'un corps et acajou et d'un superbe manche en érable flammé (collé deep joint) surmonté d'une touche en palissandre Indien. La finition satinée lui apporte un coté très fluide et engageant. Comme toutes les guitares de la marque, elle est équipée de micros Haüssel et de nombreux autres appointements qualitatifs qui font de ce modèle une véritable pièce "brute" à la lutherie haut de gamme.
