The Strymon BRIG is the second effect pedal to be released within the new "single foot-switch" range. Equipped with an ARM Superscalar processor, BRIG is an overpowered, complex and versatile delay. Updated version of the Brigadier (reference delay used by almost all Nashville session men) the BRIG raises the bar even further and your a large part of the sounds that have marked the history of the electric guitar.

But the pedal is much more compact and benefits from a completely redesigned interface with ultra-complete connectivity. In terms of controls, goodbye to hidden secondary functions, we focus on efficiency and simplicity. There are the usual Mix controls (wet/dry balance and allows you to modify the intensity of the effect), Time (repetition time) and Repeats (number of repetitions). There is also a Mod button (modulation) and Filter (adjusts EQ, noise and loss related to bucket chips).
3 DELAYS IN ONE

The 3205 mode offers ultra organic repeats that can morph as they are returned, creating sounds ranging from beautiful slapback echoes to psychedelic sci-fi sounds. Here you have a mighty original BOSS DM-2 at your feet.
The 3005 mode recreates a two-chip MN3005 BBD circuit that allows for longer delay times and warm repeats capable of destructuring to deliver stunning audio landscapes. Here you have a mighty Deluxe Memory Man at your feet.
Multi mode offers two dBucket delay lines crossed with sync (golden ratio) to create a huge stereo sound field that stays musical and clean even when on the verge of self-oscillating. This mode also provides a superb delay for solos to Steve Lukather, Anti Timmons or David Gilmour.

ARTIFACT-FREE TAP TEMPO
With the BRIG, entering a tempo works in a transparent way that would be impossible with a real analog delay. This, without changing height, without clicks, ramps or cuts. These unique pitch-shifting and tweaking variations are available via the Time button, but when tapped on the Tap Tempo, BRIG makes the changes smooth and keeps you in the beat.
MAGIC MODULATION
The BRIG delivers an impressive Chorus effect which will be tuned differently depending on the delay mode selected. In Multi mode, modulation creates a masterful ping-pong delay that covers a huge sonic space. By selecting the 3205 mode with a Delay of 30ms you get a magnificent Chorus dBucket.
PLAY WITH FEEDBACK
dBucket delays create an immediately identifiable type of repetition as their sound signature is unique. With the BRIG you can play and adjust like never before with the feedback generated by the delay. From psychedelic sci-fi to hot and dirty echo that degrades as you see fit. DON'T FORGET THE NOISE
A slight dirty noise that diffuses and gets lost within the echo is one of the unique sonic characteristics of dBucket delays. Generally speaking, the longer the delay time, the more the signal degrades as it goes from one to a chip. All these sound details that make the authenticity of bucket brigade delays and that give them an ultra organic side are present within the BRIG. Especially with the 3005 mode, which allows a totally extraordinary sound richness. If you want a much cleaner delay, no worries, push the Filter knob past 2:00.
