OTS1 Patch Box

Designing a quality pedalboard and avoiding recurring problems requires experience, a minimum of knowledge of electronics and above all, having the right equipment while knowing how to use it. The Axess Electronics OTS1™ Patch-Box provides a quick and easy solution for centralizing all your pedalboard connections.
The OTS1 is the first and smallest in a series of new patcher(s) intended to serve as the nerve center of your pedal board. This is where all connections are consolidated. This allows for denser placement of the pedals on the pedalboard, simplifies the pedalboard setup/disassembly process, and helps maintain an optimum signal.

Ironically, the weakest link in your RIG is your guitar! More precisely its microphones! The high impedance signal that comes out is extremely sensitive and fragile, it degrades with the length of your cables. So naturally, the OTS1 integrates a high quality buffer. This buffer will convert the high impedance signal (Z) of your guitar into a low impedance signal. It will minimize the loss of high frequencies, level and dynamics in the low end of the spectrum. Problems that are related to the intrinsic capacitance of the cables you are using. It will also fix "poc" issues and other design flaws in many pedals.

The circuit is a low profile Class A design, with finely tuned input impedance and other characteristics that mimic those of a high quality tube amp. It also includes an RFI filter to minimize radio frequency interference and noise. It allows your guitar to have an ideal dynamic load that remains constant, resulting in a consistent and stable sound, while allowing the guitar to "breathe" and react, as if you were plugged directly into your tube amp adding complexity and dynamics to your sound. The end result is that variations in play and sound will come from the actual effect of the pedals and not from the signal problems generated by them.

That's not all, the Axess Electronics OTS1™ Patch-Box is also an extremely powerful routing tool.

- You can connect the pedals that are in the effects loop of your amp. A simple press of a button allows you to reintegrate these pedals into your chain before the pre-amp
- The buffer can be activated / deactivated by pressing a button
- You can turn your amp's effects loop on and off remotely
- You can choose a 2-wire or 4-wire switching method with the push of a single button
- You centralize all your audio and MIDI connections
- You can create a separate loop to isolate your Fuzz pedals

- The OTS1 can be integrated into a WET/DRY/WET system to route your effects
