The ESP Iron Cross, an Eclipse-shaped guitar and symbol of James Hetfield, the legendary rhythm guitarist of the band Metallica. Released a few years ago and inspired by the frontman's personal style, this model impresses with its unusual aesthetic and its signature bulldozer sound once plugged in.
Entirely handcrafted at Custom Shop Japan, it represents the pinnacle of what the brand can produce thanks to the exceptional attention to detail it benefits from.
This model, produced in very small quantities each year, benefits from a relentless selection of wood species and the unparalleled expertise of the brand's Custom Shop. It is built around a very lightweight mahogany body, a maple top, and a deep-jointed mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard. It features a gloss finish and EMG pickups.
