The Kernom MOHO is an analog multi-fuzz pedal designed to explore the entire history of fuzz in a single premium format. Its concept: continuously transition from a rough vintage fuzz to modern, massive, synthetic, or experimental textures using the MOOD knob, without being limited to fixed modes. With its Analog Morphing Core® technology, the MOHO is aimed at guitarists, bassists, and studio musicians who want an expressive, musical, and deeply versatile fuzz pedal, capable of going from velcro fuzz to a grunge wall of saturation, and even into the more radical territories of a ring modulator.
The manufacturing follows Kernom's high-end approach: a thick 5 mm aluminum chassis, Sulphur Spark finish, robust format designed for pedalboards, stage, and studio. The front panel includes Volume, Fuzz, MOOD, ELECTRICITY, PRE TONE, and POST TONE, with an ON/OFF footswitch and a Preset footswitch to recall a favorite sound. The connectivity is comprehensive: mono audio input and output, expression pedal input, MIDI IN/OUT via mini-jack TRS Type A, true bypass via electromechanical relay, 9V DC center-negative power supply, 1 MΩ input impedance, 100 Ω output impedance, 24-bit / 48 kHz AD/DA conversion, 1 internal preset, and 127 MIDI presets. A modern analog fuzz, ready for a simple setup as well as an advanced MIDI configuration.
Once plugged in, the MOHO covers a very wide fuzz spectrum. The first third of the MOOD knob explores early fuzz textures, with colors close to Fuzz Face, Tone Bender, or FZ1, velcro grit, gated sounds, instability, and that feeling of an amp starting to break up. Moving further, you enter a more psychedelic 60s zone, warm, high-pitched, and singing, before shifting to a thicker grunge register, close to the Big Muff spirit, with sustain and a real density of saturation. The subsequent zones become more modern, more aggressive, almost synthetic, then the last zone adds a ring modulator for metallic, strange, and futuristic harmonics. The PRE TONE changes the fuzz's reaction to attack, with more body and compression to the left or more brightness and dynamics to the right, while the POST TONE adjusts the final rendering, from heavy and dark to more open and sharp. The ELECTRICITY knob adds an analog low octave to the left, an upper octave to the right in the spirit of Octavia / Super Fuzz, and also controls the ring modulator's frequency in its dedicated zone.

It combines analog fuzz, octaver, ring modulator, presets, MIDI, and expression in a solid and coherent format, with enough personality for garage riffs, psychedelic sounds, grunge fuzz walls, octaved leads, doom, sludge, or noise experiments.
