Its name says exactly what it does: an amp-like overdrive with extraordinary touch responsiveness, one that preserves the character of the instrument and responds to the subtlest nuances of your playing. The two pedals coexist naturally in the lineup, and for some, on the same pedalboard.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\"\u003eThe Dynamist shares the dual-channel architecture of the Diablo, FET circuit, with two independent channels (separate Drive and Level controls) switchable during playing or pre-selectable in bypass mode. The shared section features four knobs and two mini switches. Feed controls the amount of low frequencies in the input signal for a tight and transparent sound, even with the fattest neck pickups. Body increases the bass response in the first gain stage for a denser sound. Tone adds treble and high mids when turned clockwise. The Volt knob adjusts the internal voltage from 6 to 18V: lower voltage = earlier breakup, more compression, thicker and softer sound. Higher voltage = tighter bass, more punch and clarity. Note: Volt also affects the output level, so the Level control may need to be readjusted. The 3-position Input switch acts on the first gain stage: up (top boost) for a more pronounced attack and better chord clarity, particularly suited to humbuckers. Middle (low gain) for edge-of-breakup sounds. Down to recover the original Diablo response. The Mids switch changes the mid frequencies in the tone control: slight mid cut in the up position, mid boost in the middle, original setting down. Inside the enclosure, a presence trimpot on the PCB allows fine-tuning of the high frequencies. True Bypass. Entirely handbuilt in Leipzig.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\"\u003eThe most immediate difference from the Diablo is headroom: The Dynamist has noticeably more, with a tighter grain and less gain available at equivalent settings. The Diablo has a spongier, looser dynamic feel, whereas The Dynamist is an amp-like overdrive with remarkable clarity and openness. It works beautifully with clean amps, where many overdrives struggle to hold their own as a genuine additional channel. What truly sets it apart is its dynamics. The touch response is extraordinary: every variation in attack is reproduced with rare precision and musicality. The Input switch and Volt knob allow precise fine-tuning of this behaviour. In low gain with Volt pushed up, the pedal stays nearly transparent with just enough character. In top boost with Body turned up, it gains density and body. It works on any amp, but a good open clean channel is where it truly comes into its own.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\"\u003eThe Dynamist is aimed at guitarists looking for a boutique overdrive with exceptional dynamics and touch response.
