With this guitar from our personal collection, ESP has set the bar very high. Totally off-catalog model, custom, devoid of serial number and originally made for the rhythm guitarist of one of the greatest metal bands of all time, it arrived in our collection more than a year ago. decade.
This prototype is entirely handmade at the Custom Shop Japan, it represents the pinnacle of what the brand can produce from the exceptional attention to detail it enjoys.
This model, unique in the world, benefits from an impressive selection of species and the unequaled know-how of the brand's Custom Shop. At present it takes a year to wait for an equivalent model. This Custom Order takes the unique shapes of the Flying V from the 80s. It is built around a 1-piece Honduran mahogany body. The neck is also Honduran mahogany and has a "set-neck deep joint". A Gabon ebony fingerboard with block inlays is affixed to it. This superb Flying V is equipped with an exceptional and extremely rare 1-piece dappled maple top - master grade -, impossible to find because of its "size", this one having to match that of a Flying V.
The finish is not to be outdone, with a magnificent Honey Burst Cellulose. The contours are underlined in a very beautiful way by a cream binding. The electronic part benefits from two Bareknuckle The Mule and Nailbomb pickups.
