The Baùm Conquer 59 is a clever mix of two diametrically opposed designs. Imagine a ThinLine type guitar with Gibsonian electronics. It is designed like a beautiful old-fashioned car: beautiful curves, an assertive rock-garage aesthetic and colors straight out of the 60s.
This "featherweight" semi-hollow is absolutely beautiful. Built around a mahogany body, a maple top and a roasted maple neck with an Indian rosewood fingerboard, the Conquer 59 benefits from careful craftsmanship and attention to detail rarely seen. in this price range.
Connected, it will delight guitarists who love versatility. The Conquer 59 delivers clean sounds with a nice roundness with a high mid front, as any good configuration based on P90s requires. When saturated, the bottom is tighter, it "twangs" in a nice way with a comfortable output level and a sparkly top end. It is equipped with Baum "Jabmaster" pickups which are over-wound and over-vitamined single coils. Like all models in the range, the Conquer is equipped with the brand's priority hardware and its Levitator Roller bridge.
